Your safety comes first. Before any session, make sure your health allows you to use the equipment. If you have a medical condition, are receiving treatment or have any particular concern about your health, see your doctor before using it.
Before you book
- Before any purchase, you must read the contraindications for each piece of equipment set out below and declare on your honour that none of them applies to you.
- If in doubt, consult a doctor first.
- Do not use a piece of equipment if a contraindication applies to you, if you are pregnant, after recent surgery or if you have unusual pain.
- Do not use the equipment under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Stop immediately if you feel unwell.
- Tell the centre about any relevant change in your health.
1. BeautyRED — whole-body red and near-infrared light
Do not use without medical advice if you:
- are highly sensitive to light (photosensitivity);
- are taking photosensitising medication (skin treatments, certain antibiotics);
- have an acute, undiagnosed skin condition;
- are pregnant or think you may be.
Protective glasses must be worn.
2. Revive Dome — infrared dome sauna with red light
Do not use without medical advice if you:
- have a serious cardiovascular condition (history of heart problems, a pacemaker, etc.);
- have uncontrolled high blood pressure;
- have a major vascular disorder (active phlebitis, thrombosis, risk of stroke, etc.);
- are pregnant or think you may be.
Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseous, in pain or excessively hot.
3. Aquatica Jet — dry hydromassage bed with warm water jets
Do not use without medical advice if you have:
- a recent injury to the spine (neck or back);
- a slipped disc in its acute phase;
- significant joint inflammation (a painful flare-up).
Set the intensity to the level you find most comfortable, and stop the session if you feel any pain or discomfort.
4. Immersive room — targeted infrared chairs (back and neck), visual projections and binaural music
Do not use without medical advice if you have:
- photosensitive epilepsy (because of the continuous video projections);
- acute inflammation or a recent injury to the back or neck;
- an implant or medical device close to the area being treated.
If you experience visual discomfort, dizziness, pain or excessive heat, stop the session immediately. Infrared sources can aggravate inflammation or an injured area, and the visual projections should be avoided if you have a known sensitivity to light.
